This is an old Chrono Trigger poster I made for the Bad Dudes,  ”Chronotorious” album.
It came out a few years ago, and looks like you can still purchase the music on iTunes and Amazon.Physical copies with the poster are long gone though.

Hi Brianne! I'm assuming you live in/around Burbank area. In a month, I'm planning on jumping ship from my factory job in Vancouver, WA to Burbank, CA to pursue my dream as an animation artist. I have no professional experience, little schooling, and only $3k saved up, but I'm willing to live in my car if that's what it takes. When I physically get there, what should I do to get on the right track?

These questions are tough for me to answer, because there is no one way to go about it.  It’s a major event in one’s life, packing up and moving, let alone looking for new work.

Honestly the TV animation industry seems like it’s going through a growing pain right now.  Lots of stuff in development, new pilots being released, so it’s very exciting, but not sure how many studios are full on hiring for these projects yet?

Living in Los Angeles can be expensive, rent can be a little crazy, but you could probably find out if there are any animation peeps currently looking for roommates.  Quite a few people starting out down here will share an apartment/house, so it’s possible!

As for making connections with other artists down here, I recommend the Concept Design Academy in Pasadena.  It seems expensive, but compared to college tuition, it’s great.  I took some storyboarding classes there, and it was great!  Some teachers will scout in their classes, and other professionals take them, so there’s a lot of opportunity for feedback.

Once again, not sure if any of this is helpful, everyone’s experience for starting out is different, but if there are any other people that would like to chime in and help answer, comment away!

Have you ever seen A Flight of Dragons?

I have!  A long time ago though.  I remember the designs being pretty cool?

who is your favorite character from chrono trigger and your favorite ending?

Ahh!  I don’t even know, it changes day by day.

As for the ending, personally I like the big epic one with the balloons in the sky, but the one where everyone is retconned to be Reptites is pretty funny.

Chrono Trigger is such a good and well thought out game.  I love how the main characters play off each other, so it’s really hard to choose a favorite. It’s probably one of the few games that I rotated the characters in my party a lot, because I’d start missing the ones waiting on the sidelines after awhile.

He had too much happiness!

When people ask how I can like the original series and not TNG because “TOS is so hammy” I tell them that’s why I love it.
